In a press conference held by Government Undersecretary Muftah Ismail (Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz) on 28-8-2022, the officials announced that the government would give Rs 2,000 per month to poor families. Here’s how you can apply:

786 Program (Rs 2000)
From June 1, 2022, you must (send) text the woman’s (head of household) CNIC number to 786 from any number. After checking with the government, you will soon receive the confirmation SMS and in response, you will get the address of the center where you can collect your money.
This program will save money only for women, the head of the family(women) will get 2000 CNIC for her after verification by the government.
Who Will Get Rs 2000?
All these females are eligible and will surely get Rs 2,000 which they or their men earn less than Rs 40,000 per month. Hence, all poor families are eligible for this program.
How To Send SMS?
Follow the given pattern and send your CNIC (ID Card Number) to the official code. Remember that only women get the money, so they send a number of your mother or women who live in a family. Further, here is the format you should follow:

- Type CNIC (ID Card Number)

- Now send women CNIC to 786 code
After a few days, you will receive a confirmation (Verification SMS) and you will also be guided by SMS, where you can charge Rs 2,000 per month through the PM scheme.
